III. Teaching Procedures
Step 1 Background information about paparazzi.
意大利语,意大利姓氏Paparazzo所对应的单词“蚊子”的复数形式。普遍翻译成狗仔队。 此职业首次出现于1958年。后传入香港,被翻译成Puppy(小狗),读音和追踪行为皆相近。逐渐反正成为人熟知的狗仔队。
源自意大利摄影师:狗仔大师 Signor Paparazzo
五十年代末,报章杂志的编辑对于明星名人在影楼所拍摄的“样板”照感到厌倦。SignorPaparazzo遂与同事偷拍名人隐私,拍摄地点主要是达官贵人喜欢光顾的罗马著名茶座ViaVeneto,并成功拍得被逐埃及国王法鲁克在罗马韦内托大道推翻桌子,大受欢迎。
当时电影导演费里尼以此为题材拍摄电影,《甜蜜生活》(La Dolce Vita)及《8½》(Otto e Mezzo),讲述帕帕拉佐(Paparazzi)与一名失意小报记者的故事。由于题材新鲜,电影票房卖个满堂红,Paparazzi一词变得家喻户晓,成为追踪偷拍的采访手法的代名词

Step 4 Detailed study of the passage.
Task 1: Choose the best way to complete the sentences.
Listen to the passage once and try to choose the best way to complete the sentences .
Task 2: Filling in the blanks
Listen to the passage three times. When the passage is read for the first time, listen for the general idea. When the passage is read for the second time, figure out the best words or expressions to complete the blanks for exercises. When the passage is read for the third time, write down either the exact words you hear or the main points in your own words.
Task 3: Intensive listening
Listen to the passage again and answer those questions.
