Parents' Roles in Family Education


 It is very common for us to see parents take care of every detail of life of their child which also makes me wonder that whether we can live an independent life without our parents' help. Our parents obviously have more experiences of life comparing to us. Time teaches them massive things that we couldn't fully understand now. For which, parents are absolutely qualified to be our mentor of life.Parents' behavior has a subtle influence on their children. In early childhood, children spend most of their time staying with their parents, the parents set an important example for the child, and they are the most person which the child likely to imitate, the way they handle everything, positive or negative.

There's a saying that an old man's sayings are seldom untrue. Thus,we believe that we can trustingly follow their guide. On the other hand, parents can accompany their children for decades of years, but they cannot accompany their children's whole life. How can we handle the problems independently with over reliance? Meticulous care maybe caused some children lost their self-care ability. For example we can see a talented boy being admitted to a key university but must live in campus with his parents around from newspapers. If I were that boy I will feel quite ashamed. Or maybe parents sometimes interfere us towards future. Such as the decision of school, specialty, future career and so on. We may feel like we are chained to parents' decision on those things.Sometime we will have a quarrel with them to pursue what we really want. In conclusion, parents gave us our precious life and we will always respect their opinion for which. But to live an independent life, we must figure out how to grow up on our own.
