范文1

Is Higher Education Worthwhile?

Nowadays some people think studying in a university is worthwhile only because you can get a degree.

As for them, it is a waste of time to stay in a university and they want to go to society to experience really study and life. So they often sleep in a class or listen to the music even be absent from the class. In a word, they don’t want to listen to the teacher though how correct the teachers say. They want to improve their ability in a short time and be anxious for success so they often want to reach for what is beyond their grasp. So they become more and more unconfident.

On the contrary, quite a few people think studying in a university is a good chance to grasp their future and they believe you will be successful by studying hard and taking part in some meaningful activities.

In my opinion, studying in a university has some advantages and disadvantages. We should use our brain to put theory into practice. The first of all is that we want to study and we want to be successful. Then we ought to study all kinds of theory well. Finally, we use these theories to different side. Don’t want to be successful in short time, it is a long time to accumulate.

范文2 Education pays

At present, higher education is progressing at an amazing rate. Most people can receive a better education than before. And we gradually recognize the fact that education is a wise investment, which is beneficial to our future career. Reading this chart, we can find that graduates with better education background enjoy lower unemployment rate in the job market .In 2010, the average rate of unemployment is 7.6%. As the picture shows, students who have a doctor degree experienced the lowest unemployment rate while those with less than high school diploma suffer the highest risk. And we can also figure out from the statistics that the unemployment rate of people who finally get a degree higher than college diploma is all above the average line while the number of the rest is not. Education background is now becoming increasingly vital in job-hunting; so going to universities is the best investment to every student. People should cherish their opportunities to receive better education, sharpening their edge so as to build a more promising and stable future.
