Assignment:

-Write a 200-300 word personal statement inresponse to one of the Common Application Essay Prompts. Your statement must have something to do with food, drink, eating, or customs associated with foodand drink. Please note at the top of your paper which prompt your essay is written in response to. 

This assignment is due no later than the beginningof class on Saturday, October 8. (10%) Students who submit complete drafts of their personal statements by at least three days before the due date may receive extra, direct feedback from the Professor.
