Instruction (导语)

Learning goals for the advanced module (进阶模块的教学目标) 

The learning goals for the advanced module "Research design and health policy evaluation" include:

1. be able to understand the core idea and assumption of popularhealth policy evaluation approaches

2. acquire the ability to identify appropriate analytical frameworkfor hot issues in the health field

3. sustain enduring interests and passion in fields related to health

Instruction for Week 5 (第5周导语) 

This lecture will be conducted virtually and will consist of two SPOC videos. The initial video closely examines omitted variable bias (OVB) with the health-education gradient as an illustrative example. The subsequent video provides a brief introduction to one of the popular techniques for addressing OVB, namely the instrumental variable method. Additionally, we will explore an intriguing study investigating the impact of education on parental cognitive function in old age. If you're pressed for time, feel free to proceed directly to the second video.
