Instruction for Week 5 (第5周导语)
This lecture will be conducted virtually and will consist of two SPOC videos. The initial video closely examines omitted variable bias (OVB) with the health-education gradient as an illustrative example. The subsequent video provides a brief introduction to one of the popular techniques for addressing OVB, namely the instrumental variable method. Additionally, we will explore an intriguing study investigating the impact of education on parental cognitive function in old age.
