《测绘专业英语》课程教学大纲

一、课程简介

（一）课程中文简介

本课程是测绘工程专业的专业拓展课程。其主要任务是在大学英语和专业课程学习的基础上，通过对课文的内容、结构、关键词及翻译技巧的理解，掌握常用的测绘专业英语词汇，理解专业文献中长句、语法复杂的难句和一些词的特殊用法，提高文献阅读、理解与写作能力。最终学会阅读测绘学科较为前沿的英文专业文献，正确理解并准确获取所需信息，达到以英语为工具进行英文文献检索与分析的目的，并能进行专业论文摘要翻译,及基本的英语科技论文写作等。

（二）课程英文简介

English for Geomatics is a professional development course of GeomaticsEngineering, whose main task is mastering the common vocabulary in English forGeomatics and comprehension of long and complex difficult sentences and specialusages of some words in professional literature to improve the ability ofreading, understanding and writing of literature through the study of the content,structure, key words and translation skills of the text based on the study ofCollege English and professional courses. Finally, English literature retrieval,analysis and writing with English such as learn to read more advanced English literatureof Geomatics discipline，accurately understand and access torequired information, translate the abstract of the thesis and write the basic Englishscientific papers will be achieved.

掌握Geomatics的定义及其学科的发展，理解Remote Sensing、Surveying andMapping、Photogrammetry及Geographic Information System有关专业词汇和描述，了解与Geomatics相关学科的基本知识及表达。

六、学时分配表

七、课程教学基本要求

采用课堂授课、在线学习、习题课与实验教学相结合的混合式教学方法。

1. 课堂授课

以讲授式为主，以多媒体课件演示配合板书形式，讲解课程内容重点、要点和难点，穿插提问学生阅读和翻译作为课堂考核，布置在线课程自主学习任务、习题作业。

2. 在线学习

学生在在线课程网站自主预习、复习，并完成相应章节测验，作为章节测验。

3. 作业

习题课布置四次课程作业，以巩固课堂所学知识，以使学生利用课堂所学知识解答测绘专业英语相关问题，掌握自我解决问题的能力。

九、课程成绩考核

课程成绩考核包括平时考核和期末考核。

平时考核包括：课堂考核、课外作业、在线课程章节测验等形式。

期末考核采取闭卷笔试形式。平时考核成绩占总成绩的50%，期末考核成绩占总成绩的50%。具体考核内容及所占比例，详见下表。
