A: Good morning, China Southern Airlines. May I help you?

P: Good morning. Im wondering if a child can fly alone.

A: How old is your child? And which flight do you want?

P:Shes eight years old. Id like to book a ticket from Guangzhouto Shanghai for

her.

A:The children who are under twelve years old cannot fly alone. However, thechildren who are above five but no more than twelve years old can apply for Unaccompanied Children Service. Theflights departing from Guangzhoucan be applied by phone and paid with bank cards. Do you need to make a requestnow?

P: How should I pay for this service?

A:It is the same as childrens fare, but only economy class is available. Youneed to make a request and fill out a DeclarationForm at least 72 hours prior to the departure time. May I have your Emailaddress so I can send the form to you?

P:My Email is Lee123@qq.com. I also want to know the freebaggage allowance for Unaccompanied Children.

A:20kg. Wellsend the form to you later. Please call back as soon as you complete it, sincethe seats and the quota ofUnaccompanied Children are limited. Anything else I can do for you?
