First of all, everyone has done a good job. Congratulations! You've practiced your writing, public speaking and interpreting skills. Just as President Xi said, "You need to build up fully and release sparing." So the following are a few tips which can make you better next time. Have some reflection and then try them out.
1. Speech
Use general--specific--general structure in each paragraph to better convey your ideas and cue words are also necessary
Include some figures to make your speech more objective and thus pursuasive
Be audience-friendly by taking a moderate speaking rate and speaking loud enough to be heard
2. Interpreting
Overcome the stage fright by practicing more beforehand and focusing on the upcoming informaiton rather than your feeling
maintain eye contact with the audience so as to assure them you are trustworthy
express the idea in your own words rather than what you hear so that you can better focus on the idea rather than the linguistic form.
Keep fighting! Only strivers achieve!
