Structure

Data Comementary: Structure

There are three moves (also known as "elements" according to Swales and Feak (2009)) in a data commentary.

What are they?

It is not common to neglect the 2nd and 3rd moves of a data commentary; however, the 1st move - location elements and summary statements- is usually forgotten.

Do remember to refer to the visuals in the beginning of a data commentary.
